Nicholas
Night & Kinga will be headlining at the Magic
Castle in Los Angeles by doing all the stage shows at the Palace
of Mystery every night this week. Also at the Castle from May 15-21
are Terry Lunceford, Scott Tokar, Jim Bentley, Fitzgerald, and Jim
Kopperman. Terry Lunceford lectures on Sunday May 21.(5/15)
Jerry Sadowitz has been commissioned to do four TV specials
for Channel 5 in the UK. Sadowitz, who is a very talented and
creative magician is also one of the most eccentric in magic, and
is even more wild and controversial as a comedian. On May 12 The
Scotsman reported that Sadowitz plans to do all four shows live --
and get this: The first show's audience will only have people with
disabilities, the second only women, the third only gays and the
fourth all blacks. No air dates scheduled yet.(5/15)

Houdini Code Mystery: A Spirit Secret Solved," at the

Mullica in the new Sean Connery movie Finding
Forrester
Tom Mullica has just finished filming
a segment in the new Gus Van Sant movie Finding Forrester staring and
executive produced by Sean Connery. Mullica was flown to New York City on
May 12-15 where he spent two days (May 13-14) filming his cameo spot as
"Old Money Man." Mullica told MagicTimes that the way he got the
part was, "...that Gus saw me do my Cigarette Act on the World's
Greatest Magic and again in an independent film I shot last year. When
casting for the movie he remembered me and thought I would be perfect for
the roll of the Old Money Man."

Centre For The Magic Arts in London. The annual event organized by
Eddie Dawes will feature lectures by Robert Albo who will speak
about "Okito, The Master Magician," Peter Lane and Bob
Loomis on "Two-Person Telepathy Through The Ages," Ron
and Nancy Spencer on "Telepathy Personified," Chris
Woodward on "The Genius of Robert Harbin," Peter Lamont
and Richard Wiseman on "The Rise and Fall of the Indian Rope
Trick," and John Fisher on the "Desert Island

Hank Lee's Cape Cod Conclave has announced a partial lineup
for the April 20-22, 2001 convention at the Sea Crest in Cape Cod,
