Kaleidoscope Media Group, which produces the much awaited
series, "Merlin: The Magic Begins" has finished filming the two hour movie which
will launch the series. It will be screening the movie on Apr. 3 in Germany and it should
hit the world-TV market sometime in April. The series will chronicle the early life of the
magician prior to his hooking up with King Arthur. The movie and series will star Jason
Connery (son of Sean Connery) and Deborah Moore (daughter of Roger Moore).(4/2)

Trilogy Prods. will produce a Houdini movie, for TNT, to air
late 1998 or early 1999. Houdini will be played by Johnathon Schaech and the film will be
directed by Pen Densham. The two-hour "Houdini" is scheduled to start taping in
May and will focus on Houdini's rise to fame, his fascination with spiritualism and the
