"Gizmos, Gadgets, Laughs And Lies," at the NYC International Fringe festival on
Aug. 19-30. The shows take place at the Kraine Theater, 85 East 4th Street. The times vary

Tom Mullica's "A Tribute to Red Skelton"
gets a rave review
in the Aug. 14 issue of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Michael Paskevich called it
"...a rewarding piece of theater that, given more time to unfold fully, should become
the calling card of Mullica's career." It is also reported that the show will be

The 1998 edition of M.A.E.S. (Magician's Alliance of Eastern States)
scheduled for Sep. 17-19 has been cancelled. The reason given is a very low
pre-registration. The only other time it was cancelled was during WWII. (8/21)
