After running MagicTimes for more
than 8 months with more than 250 daily updates and hundreds of news items, it was time to
evaluate our strengths and weaknesses and adapt accordingly. The response has been
tremendous, beyond our projections. Our strength, without a doubt is the daily news
update. Thousands of you visit several times a week to see what's new and on TV. It
is also something that very few can deliver with such accuracy and dependability. As I
surf the web I see too many sites who just steal news items from here and publish them as
their own, without rewrite or credit. We must be doing something right! Beginning with the September 1998 issue there will no longer be any columns. Some of
our columnists will continue, moving to the leading magic magazine on the web, Magic Show. MagicTimes will concentrate on our strength:
News -- nothing but NEWS! Everything of interest in magic will be reported here. Every
Single Day. (Meir Yedid, Publisher, 9/1/98).
Penn Jillette (of Penn & Teller) will do the voice
of Drell, in the new PC game "Sabrina The Teenaged Witch," scheduled to be

the world. Originally a student of Eddie Fechter from Buffalo he later moved to Hollywood
