Mark
Setteducati who gave us Magic Works, Talking Magic Works, and the
Mr. Creepy Line of magic products has outdone himself with a new
interactive book titled "The Magic Show." With the aid of
Anne Benkovitz they created a popup style of book which performs the
magic for the reader or it can be used by the reader to perform for
others. Either way the magic can fool even magicians and will
certainly fool non-magicians. The book whose first printing, in
October, of 120,000 copies has already sold out with a 20,000 copy
reprint being delivered to the stores. You should get a copy while
you can. Amazon has already ranked the book in the top 2,000 best
selling in their inventory and includes positive reviews from Mac
King, Ben Robinson, Tyler Barrett, Ed Justice, Jr. and several
others. It is a very attractive full- color hardcover book and is
priced at a very low $18.95. The best part is that Amazon is
discounting the book for a low $13.27. To read the reviews and

marionette act instead. His show evolved from "The Royal
Marionettes," "Mantell's Marionette Hippodrome" to
"Mantell's Manikins" with which "...He toured the
country and became a vaudeville headliner. Hundreds of people paid
25 or 40 cents to see his show." Ayres died in 1967 at the age
of 82. "He is definitely one of the biggest names in

Mark Setteducati's new book The Magic show is getting some
great press. Besides being mentioned in the current People Magazine
as a great gift idea it also received an outstanding review in the
Los Angeles Times. The writer describes his meeting with Setteducati
and describes the way the book was presented/performed for him. You
will also discover some of Setteducati's theories on what it takes
to make good magic. The outcome of the reporters test with two young
children was, "On a Christmas gift scale of 1 to 10, they rated
it an 11. When last seen, the book was in the hands of the
10-year-old, who was sitting on the floor at day-care, surrounded by
a circle of her peers. 'How did you do it?' they were asking. 'How
did you do it?'" To read Bettijane Levine's Dec. 13
