February 11 Magic lost one
of it's living legends.
Patrick Page (March 17,
1929-February 11, 2010) was
one of the best all-around
magicians, creators and
magic consultants in the
business. We asked one of
his best friends, Charles
Reynolds, to write a brief
tribute about one of the
best liked and respected men

Big Bear Choppers creating skeleton bike
for illusionist Criss Angel - San

A custom motorcycle is being crafted for
a famous "mind freak" and magic man. And
the bike is literally bad to the bone.
Big Bear Choppers is putting the
finishing touches on its seventh
custom-made bike for illusionist Criss
Angel, one that its maker says uses a
real human skeleton dipped in stainless
steel as part of its frame. "(Angel)
told me he wanted to build a skeleton
bike made out of scraps of sheet metal,"
said Kevin Alsop, who owns and operates
Big Bear Choppers along with his wife,
Mona. "I told him, `Why don't we use a
real skeleton?"'...

58th Annual Convention of the Blackpool
Magicians Club - Stage
When 3,500 magicians gathered in
Blackpool for the largest annual magic
convention in the world, they were able
to take part in a feast of eye-popping
magic from an array of international
stars. There were 20 lectures, four
competitions, stage and close-up shows,
a vast dealers fair and an illustrated
talk by former television producer
Johnny Hamp. There was also an audience
with Wayne Dobson that ended with Joe
Pasquale carrying him off the stage and
then dragging him back again by his
feet, which had the audience howling
with laughter....

pioneered the magic of illusion on
television - Santa Maria Times
Ralph Adams, the youngest of 12
children, was born April 18, 1910 in
Ross Fork, Mont., a stage coach stop
where travelers were fed in the Grandma
Adams’ home, and came to Santa Maria by
way of Oregon in 1922... During the
1930s, while running his photography
studio, he was also busy performing
