Meir
Yedid and Monsignor Dermot
Brennan. While lecturing for SAM
#194 on May 19th in Yonkers, New
York I was pleasantly surprised
when my old friend Msgr. Brennan
attended the lecture. Few people
know that in the 1970s and 1980s
Msgr. Brennan wrote many of the
instructions and ads for
Tannen's Magic. You can also
find some
convention
reviews he wrote in magic
magazines. As a special surprise
the
club also provided him with a
birthday cake to celebrate his
upcoming 80th birthday.

MIKE WEATHERFORD: Magician Wyrick by the
numbers - Las Vegas Review Journal
One thing about Wyrick was impressive.
He always did what he said he would do.
In fact, he did it three times. First he
built an 860-seat theater at the Sahara
in 2000. Three years later, he forged a
smaller venue out of a bare-bones space
at the Aladdin. Then, in 2007, came what
was touted as a $35 million venue in the
Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood.
Pricey, but not to be wholly reliant on
Wyrick, or even fellow entertainers
renting the stage in the afternoons....
